1904 Born into a middle class family.

1916–1919 Finishes junior high school in Paris.

1923 Completes high school in Belgrade.

1928 Graduates chemistry in Belgrade.

1930 One of the signatories of the Surrealist manifesto, publishes two contributions in the almanac.

1931 Prints his Surrealist poster with the photomontage Necu, testera stvarnosti (I Will Not, the Saw of Reality).

1932 Contributes to Surrealism Here and Now.

1932–1940 Works as a professor and translator.

1969 Donates a legacy containing Surrealist works, books and other objects to the Museum of the City of Belgrade in Belgrade.
